food processor: An appliance that can handle most of the functions of a blender and can also perform other functions for food preparation, including mixing and kneading dough. Food processors can slice, shred or chop with the change of a cutting blade.

freezer: An appliance that freezes and keeps foods frozen so that foods can be stored for long periods of time. Freezers can be built into a refrigerator or can be purchased separately.

griddle: A flat metal surface, such as a pan, which is used for cooking. Griddles can also be built-in options on ranges.

ice maker: An appliance that automatically makes ice. Some refrigerators include automatic ice makers.

ice dispenser: A feature of some refrigerators that allows people to get ice from a device on the freezer or refrigerator door.
